- Google User Data (What data we access): ArthaZoo accesses Gmail transaction-related emails to identify and categorize financial transactions such as credits and debits.
- Financial Data: Expense records, custom limits, and bank connection metadata entered by the user.
- Usage Data: Diagnostic data to improve the iOS app experience.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your data is strictly used to deliver core app functionalities. Why we access it:
- The data is used solely to provide automated expense tracking and financial insights to users.
- Tracking expenses against user-defined limits.
- Sending Secure OTPs for authentication and password resets.
- Managing premium subscription trial logic.
3. What We DO NOT Do
ArthaZoo operates on strict privacy principles. Very importantly:
- ArthaZoo does not sell user data to third parties.
- ArthaZoo does not use Gmail data for advertising.
4. Data Security & Storage
- Data storage: We do not store the whole email, but only parsed transaction metadata which may be securely stored to improve user experience and analytics.
- Security: All data is encrypted during transmission and storage.
5. User Control
Users can revoke Gmail access anytime from their Google account settings.
6. Third-Party Services
We may use trusted third-party services strictly for operational purposes. These services adhere to their own strict privacy policies.
7. Google API Limited Use Disclosure
ArthaZoo's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically, data obtained through Google APIs is only used to provide or improve user-facing features, and is never transferred, sold, or used for serving ads.
